As is evidenced by our National championship in football and our struggles during the basketball season, being a school with competitive teams in both football and basketball is extremely difficult. No 5 star recruit wants to goto a school where they play second fiddle to players of the other sport on campus. While possible, very few schools have maintained high levels of success in both sports for extended periods of time. We had a good run with it in the early 2010's, but maintaining that success is close to impossible.
