So I am perusing the enemy's blog and there is a post breathlessly announcing that the NCAA has awarded Michigan with a top ten ranking of number of sports in which student athletes 1. maintain academic eligibility 2. stay in school. Michigan is also the only Big 10 school in which both the football and basketball team received this recognition.
We are not in the list this year(2014).
We were ranked in the top ten in 2012, 13, 14. I don't know for certain in the years previously.
The full rankings and APR's for each school will be released on May 27.
TFUN love this. Title of the thread is that Michigan athletes come to play school.
Stanford is ranked first , followed by Notre Dame.
Kentucky's basketball program is ranked in the top ten. Someone explain how half your team can leave for the NBA and you maintain that record.
