Quinn Kinner came up a match short, finishing 2nd at 141 pounds.
In all, the Buckeyes finished 47-17 at the tournament (.734 winning percentage), and recorded 11 pins, 5 tech falls and 7 major decisions.
Sammy Sasso stood out in particular, notching three pins and tech fall and a major decision on his way to the 149-pound title.
Malik Heinselman went to Edinboro instead of wrestling in duals at Champaign and Evanston this weekend, because the staff want to boost his RPI and Winning percentage heading toward the postseason.
