Oldham has long been one of the state’s best wrestlers. He was an All-Iowa Elite selection last season and was included on the Just Missed list for the Des Moines Register’s 2018 Iowa Eight. He went 46-1 last season en route to a Class 3A state title at 113 pounds.
For his career, Oldham is 163-18 overall, according to records kept by Trackwrestling. That includes his 29-3 mark this season. He is currently ranked No. 2 at 126 pounds in 3A by the Predicament.
Prior to winning a state title last year, Oldham took second as a freshman at 106 pounds and then fifth at the same weight as a sophomore. At times last season, he was nationally ranked by a couple of different outlets.
