DeLAND, Fla. – The Ohio State baseball team plated seven runs in the first two innings and cruised to a 13-1 win over Harvard Saturday afternoon at Melching Field. With the win, the Buckeyes improve to 4-7 on the year while the Crimson fall to 0-5.
The Buckeyes conclude the weekend against Fairfield at 7 p.m. Sunday in DeLand. Junior left-hander Griffan Smith (0-1, 4.42 ERA) is slated to get the ball for the Buckeyes against Fairfield sophomore left-hander Michael Sansone (0-2, 7.27).
