The coronavirus outbreak has shut down most of the sports world, but Colin Hass-Hill and I will be continuing to produce weekly episodes of Real Pod Wednesdays (albeit remotely, from the safety of our own homes).
Given how much has changed in the past week since our last episode, we'll devote a significant portion of this episode to talking about the abrupt end to the season for the basketball team and many other Ohio State sports. We'll take a look back at the Ohio State basketball season that was and consider how the potential cancellation of the remainder of spring football could impact those Buckeyes' preparation for the fall.
We'll also bring on Zack Carpenter to talk about one thing that clearly hasn't shut down – Ohio State football recruiting – after the Buckeyes have already landed multiple commitments this week.
Any questions you have about any of that or anything else, let us know. We're certainly open to any ideas you have for discussion topics on future episodes, as well, given that we unfortunately won't have NCAA Tournament games and spring football practices to talk about for the next few weeks as we previously anticipated.
