Woo-hoo! Big time news for the ladies' lacrosse team, as national-title winner Kelsey Reed will be joining the Buckeyes this fall! It's huge news, given how much the women's team has struggled in recent years.
And it comes none too soon! Reed is a middie, who was twice named a captain for her JMU squad. Reed was a 2nd-team All-CAA selection in 2019, when she had 27 points (19 G, 8 A). Reed started off her 2020 campaign in a similar vein to 2019, with 6 goals in 6 games, and an assist.
In all, Kelsey comes to Columbus after playing 49 games for James Madison, including 15 games during their run to the title in 2018. Ms. Reed will be a fantastic addition to the Buckeye roster, and will hopefully be the first in a long line of championship talent to come to Columbus! Welcome aboard, Kelsey Reed!
Go Bucks!
