Luke Geog, the No. 6-ranked prospect in the country at 170 pounds, committed to Ohio State this morning. The St. Edward's standout was a finalist at this year's Ohio High School state tournament, gives the Buckeyes their fifth pledge in the Class of 2022.
Im blessed to announce I am going to continue my academic and athletic career at The Ohio State University. I want to thank my family, coaches, and all those who have supported me along this journey. Time to begin a new chapter. Go Bucks pic.twitter.com/wUh73JCxUa

Ohio State has been on a recruiting tear lately, and has easily the best recruiting class in the country this year, featuring the nation's top three prospects – Jesse Mendz, Nick Feldman and Nic Bouzakis – the 19th-rated prospect in Seth Shumate, and now the No. 45 overall recruit in Geog.
Additionally, the staff already has the makings of a stellar 2023 class with No. 3 Rocco Welsh and No. 17 Vinny Kilkeary already committed. Recruiting consigliere Anthony Ralph continues to do great work, and the ability to get prospects back on campus for official visits is clearly playing dividends for the Buckeyes.
