Marcus Bingham Jr., a four-star power forward and the No. 2-ranked player in Michigan, committed to Michigan State today.

Ohio State's previous staff did not really recruit Bingham, but he had strong ties to Chris Holtmann and his staff at Butler. Holtmann and Co. extended an Ohio State offer to Bingham a couple of weeks ago, but in the end, it's a tough pull to take the Michigan kid away from Tom Izzo.
I'd still expect Ohio State to target one big man in this 2018 class. I think the Buckeyes will also go after one wing (Jerome Hunter is the top target) and at least two guards.
