Team Big X was originally supposed to feature a trio of former Buckeyes, but due to injuries and other complications, Andrew Dakich is the lone remaining former Ohio State basketball playing for the Big Ten alumni squad.
Now mixed in a handful of non-Big Ten alums, Big X moved onto the second round Saturday morning with a thrilling 81-79 win over the Chattanooga Trenches in Columbus.

The Elam Ending, which is described in further detail in today's Scarlet and Gray preview, means that every game eventually ends on a game-winner.
If Big X advances to the round of 16, they could potentially face of with Scarlet and Gray, should the Buckeye alumni squad also advance that far.
