Maybe it was a different game back then but I’ve seen 3 or 4 “walks” on Ohio State that were just hesitation plays.

Michigan had improved. No doubt about it. This was the best version of Michigan we played that year. But Ohio State was still the better team. Michigan had more talent but it was raw and ours was polished.

If you rewatch the game (God be with you) there are no less than 15 occasions where OSU players raise their arms in confused frustration over the call and next to zero for Michigan. There was a brief stretch from about 10 min to 5 min in the second half where the whistles didn’t go against us and we soared.
