Kuwatch entered the program as a preferred walk-on in June of 2021 after becoming an All-Ohio defender and the Southwest Ohio Defensive Player of the Year in high school.
While he didn't occupy a scholarship spot, Kuwatch is now the third Buckeye to enter the transfer portal in the post-spring window, following kicker Jake Seibert and wide receiver Caleb Burton.
