Since Archie is the only one with multiple Heisman Trophy’s I’m genuinely curious how voters will approach/view Caleb Williams this year seeing as he’s the odds on favorite to repeat and a genuine threat.
There’s really no other returning QBs that put up the huge numbers last year other than Drake Maye and he plays for UNC.
I know in baseball the voters never give anyone a unanimous pass in the hall of fame. Like never. It’s just a thing with voters and it always has been (baseball has all kinds of unspoken rules but whatever).
I’m just curious if the voters prefer the lore of Archie Griffen being the only one with 2 Heismans so they’re actively looking for the “new guy” so that Williams doesn’t win a again.
I have no idea either way but I was curious what everyone thought
