I've been pondering what potential repercussions should look like if the NCAA were to determine Michigan did cheat as it appears they have... And this is what I have come up with.
1. Michigan to vacate ALL conference wins dating back to the first known occurrence of cheating all the way up through this year.
2. Michigan to be barred from being ranked in any major polls (Ohio State was only able to appear in the AP Poll when they faced a postseason ban, both the BCS and Coaches didn't recognize Ohio State, the same should go for Michigan)
3. Michigan should serve a Postseason ban of at least one year
4. Harbaugh should be both fired and barred from coaching in the NCAA
5. Players will be allowed to transfer with instant eligibility
6. All awards, recognitions, and titles will be vacated for every year they have been determined to cheat, (B1G Championships, Division Titles, Player Awards, etc...)
7. Michigan will publicly acknowledge all wrongdoing and apologize
This is just the bare minimum of what I think should happen, please leave your thoughts below!
[Mod edit: Moved to College Sports. I prefer to keep that team’s trash out of the Ohio State Football forums. It’s stinking up the joint.]
