Can someone school me on the ins and outs of season tickets at the 'Shoe ?

Have been thinking of getting a season ticket plan for next season. The ticket office is of no help. When I was at the game last Saturday, they basically tell you to go online and fill out the form and someone should reply within a week or so about when the window starts and how to proceed. I had already done that last month. I did it again this week. 

Is this something where they get back to you in the off-season ?
