In an interview with Dom Tiberi, Laurinaitis says toughness wins championships and mentions the 2005 team he was a part of and the 2015 and 2019 teams as teams that were talented but fell short. He says "I keep hearing that we are a talented team, you know what, talent doesn't win championships". I don't believe he says this unless this is a mantra the staff is pushing this year.
