1) Win all regular season games and be ranked number 1 wire to wire only to get your crap pushed in and exposed in the natty by a one-loss team that wants it more?

2) Win all the big games on the schedule over multiple years, but inexplicably lose to MSU, Purdue, or Iowa during the regular season?

3) Beat all the teams you are supposed to, but lose a squeaker on the road against a top 3 team during the regular season, stomp a boot in TTUN, get revenge in the B1G Championship, get favorable seeding in a 12 team playoff and win a natty?

Day is not Tressel or Meyer… and college football is much different now than when they coached.  OSU is still in a good spot.  It’s a great team with all of their goals still in front of them.  Knowles isn’t perfect, but the defense is objectively better since he arrived.  I’m not a Will Howard fanboy, but he’s good enough (better than last year’s  Honda).  Denzel is probably our best corner, and he had a bad game; you don’t get to the level he’s at if you can’t take this setback and grind to work it out.  1 point loss on the road, in a TOUGH environment to a top 3 (likely 2 today) opponent.  The coaching staff is good, they’ll figure out what went wrong and adjust.
