In the small victories department, I thought the crowd, at least from my perspective way up near the towers at the closed end of the stadium, did a good job bringing the noise today. Even though it was pretty damn cold and the offense repeatedly kept giving us some of the most uninspired play calling I’ve ever seen in any game, the crowd kept answering the call every time they were asked to get loud.

Yeah there were a few lapses where they got quiet just because of being stunned by the sheer magnitude of what was happening on the field, but they quickly regrouped and gave the team all the support they could muster in crucial situations right up to the final possession. 
 

There have been many games where I’m disappointed in the intensity of the crowd and how it diminishes the overall game atmosphere and home field advantage, but today wasn’t one of them.
