As a 26 year-old Buckeye fan, I have had the privilege of living through some great times. I've seen championships, I've watched us dominate TTUN, and seen us at the top of the college football landscape.
However, I have also watched us lose inexcusable games, fall short with incredible talent, and seen our scumbag rival get the better of repeatedly.
And in all of that, here's what I have learned...I would choose to be a Buckeye over and over again.
Make no mistake, the last 4 years have hurt. We have staggered and stumbled. We have tasted our own blood. We have been beaten and bruised.
But I didn't decide to be a Buckeye because it was a walk in the park. I did it because it's in my blood. It's more than football. It's family. It's the great state of Ohio. To quote the great Jim Tressel, "I can't believe God gave me a chance to be a Buckeye"
With that said, I want to rally the troops. Those who are Buckeyes no matter what. We don't need a two week funeral march into this game. We need people who are ready to go to war with this team. We don't need a fanbase that excuses mediocrity. But we do need one that is full of all-in, committed, not going anywhere Buckeyes.
With all that said...use this thread to share what makes you believe in this team or a moment an Ohio State team has done something that made you feel that sense of pride we all carry.
And as a resident of the state of Tennessee...let's go smash those redneck jokers. Go Bucks.
