Early in the season, Joel Klatt said that a conversation with Chip Kelly revealed that one of the reasons they were interested in Will Howard was his ability with his feet and that they wanted to exploit that this season to help the running game.

Fast forward to the Indiana game and Klatt said that when Kelly was asked again about why they hadn't seen more running out of Howard, Kelly responded by saying, "They didn't want to get him hurt". 

I feel this affects the running game negatively.  Will they open this up on Saturday and throw caution to the wind or simply use him as needed in desperation?  What does this say about their confidence level with Brown and Sayin?
