Ohio State added a preferred walk-on from the junior college ranks when Monroe College (NY) cornerback Alex Badine Jr. announced his commitment on Monday afternoon.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Badine originally planned to walk on at Rutgers in 2015, but ended up bouncing around at the junior college level for a few years. He'll join the program in the fall and have three years to play two season in Columbus.
Badine is still a raw prospect, but he looks very athletic and clearly carries a ton of confidence. In fact, he may be the first walk-on prospect to announce where he'll attend school with a commitment video.
