I can remember Ken Anderson from the early 80s, but I don't remember the Bengals in the 70s. He is an interesting case, also, b/c you can see just how important the guys around a QB are to him. He put up great numbers in the early 70s and early 80s but not so much in the late 70s.
Questions for older Bengals fans:
Why did they trade Charlie Joiner for a DE? Yeah, they needed a DE, but why give up a sure thing that built up a lot of timing w/ Anderson.
Did the Bengals really give up on Anderson when they drafted Jack Thompson?
Side Note:Archie Griffin looked better as a pro than I thought he would in some of the games I have looked at on YT.
