Former MSU WR and 1st round pick passes away at 38. I remember how freakish he was on the football field, at least in college. IMO, he was an NFL bust because the Lions were terrible and he got hurt in back to back seasons. 
 

I found a few articles that mention he was addicted to pain killers because of his injuries, but he also didn’t help his cause by failing multiple drug tests (weed).

Overall, 38 is way to young! Praying for his family.
