Got a chance to watch the Tennis Bucks first hand at the UT Tennis complex today.  They brought their #1 ranking to Austin and it was a beautiful day with a packed house (free tickets always helps)

 It was not a match as it turned out.  Texas won the doubles point, winning two of three matches, which did come down to a tiebreaker in the third match, the only suspense the rest of the day  In singles we lost the first set in all 6 matches, 3 of them 6-2 or worse.  We played better in second sets, in fact one player started a third set after a 6-1 loss in first set.  Every other match ended in the second set, resulting in a 4-0 sweep.  We looked outgunned on every court today…. very disappointing.  I ran into 30-40 other Buckeye fans who live in Austin area but we couldn’t give them enough energy

    Im sure this team will be at the final 16 team tournament, wherever it is this year, and I’m interested to see how they do against Texas A&M next week.  They need to rally.  Did not look like #1 team today
