Long story short -- millennial figures out he doesn't want to be an investment banker. Opens a couple of hostels. Gets a tip about California's Cerro Gordo old silver/zinc mining town being up for sale & invests everything he has to buy it, goes out there to spend a couple weeks and gets "stuck" there during the pandemic.
I like watching it. Episodes are usually 10-20 minutes long. Nice little escape/fantasy. Basically no commercials. Cool to think not only about what the town can be now but also what the people who pushed West for riches in the 1800s might have been like.
I also watch Cabinland but it's been on hiatus I think due to the pandemic.
Are there any other Youtube or non-mainstream shows that you watch? Maybe some of you Californians, Arizonans, or Nevadans could take a weekend and check it out in person!
