Former Ohio State band director Jon Waters is filing a lawsuit against the school, according to a 10TV report.
According to the report, Waters and his representatives will file the lawsuit today and the details will be released during a news conference this afternoon.
Waters was fired as the school's band director in July after an investigation found a "sexualized culture" within the band and claimed Waters was made aware of the situation and failed to stop it.
Since his removal, numerous alumni band members and fans have shown support for Waters, who marched with the alumni band during Ohio State's last home game against Kent State.
Former Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro has joined Waters' legal team, according to an announcement from the law firm.
Ohio State president Michael Drake has has stated the university stands behind its decision to fire Waters.
