Men's volleyball's last loss came on Feb. 6, 2016 against Ball State. This time around, the Buckeyes entered a match with Ball State on a 32-match win streak, needing to beat the Cardinals to break the school record for consecutive victories. And they did just that.
Volleyball
Ohio State men's volleyball embedded itself in school history with a win over No. 12 Ball State, good for their 33rd consecutive victory. The win bested a 47-year-old school record set in 1969-70.

After the win on Feb. 2, the Buckeyes didn't have much time to rest, as they had a match against the Fort Wayne Mastodons on Feb. 4. The team did not disappoint, improving their streak to 34 straight.

Women's Tennis
No. 5 women's tennis continued their hot start to the season with another victory, this time beating the No. 9 Vanderbilt Commodores, 5-2.

Francesca Di Lorenzo, the No. 1 collegiate women's tennis player, beat No. 2 Astra Sharma (Vanderbilt) in two sets.
No. 3 men's tennis also captured a victory over the University of South Florida 6-1, improving their record on the season to 7-0.

Wrestling
No. 4 Wrestling took on No. 2 Penn State in a highly anticipated matchup in the Schott on Friday. The team was without two starters, and was taken down, 32-12.

The Buckeyes racked up three victories out of the 10 matchups, coming from No. 1 133-pounder Nathan Tomasello, No. 4 197-pounder Kollin Moore and No. 1 heavyweight Kyle Snyder.
While the Buckeyes suffered a loss, they did set a record for highest attendance at a wrestling dual on Friday.

The Buckeyes will have a match Feb. 6 against No. 14 Rutgers.
Hockey
No. 11 men's icers split a two-game set with Michigan over the weekend, dropping the first game 4-5 on Feb. 3 and winning 6-5 the next day.

In the second matchup, the Buckeyes came from behind to seal a 6-5 victory in Ann Arbor. Sophomore forward Mason Jobst and senior forward Nick Schilkey each scored two goals in the Feb. 4 tilt against the Wolverines. You can see both of them in action on this goal by Schilkey.

Women's ice hockey had a tough start to the weekend, falling 3-1 to St. Cloud State on Friday with the lone goal being scored by junior forward Lauren Spring.

On Saturday, the Buckeyes tied with the Huskies 2-2, and won the overtime shootout for a bonus point on a goal by junior defender Dani Sadek.

Freshman forward Rebecca Freiburger and junior defender Jessica Dunne each added a goal of their own in regulation.
Gymnastics
No. 4 Men's gymnastics captured a victory over No. 10 Michigan in Columbus on Saturday, and reached a season-high for points scored with 422.200.

Fifth-year senior Jake Martin scored a 14.850 on the high-bar, good for third in the NCAA this year, while redshirt junior Jake Dastrup added two individual victories on the day, including tying a personal best of 14.900 on the pommel horse.
No. 18 women's gymnastics was once again led by junior Alexis Mattern as the team took down Rutgers. Mattern posted a career best score on the day of 39.400 and the team won 195.775-194.300 over the Scarlet Knights.

The team posted a 49.075 on the floor exercise, and Mattern continued to impress with a personal best of 9.925 in the routine.
Lacrosse
No. 17 lacrosse took down Furman University to begin the season. The Bucks defeated the Paladins, 12-6.
Senior Johnny Pearson scored four goals for the Buckeyes, while senior goalie Tom Carey racked up 11 saves in the match.

Other Events
Both men's and women's swimming took down Wright State, with the women winning 153-88 and the men taking it, 153-101.
Synchronized swimming came in first place out of three competitors at the Jessica Beck Memorial Meet in Columbus.
Rifle placed third at the PRC championships on Saturday with a score of 4691.
Three Buckeyes took home gold at the track & field Armory Invite in New York. Sophomore Sade Olatoye (weight throw), senior Deshawn Marshall (short sprints) and sophomore DaJuan Seward (triple jump) each won their event.
