The tennis Buckeyes are heading to the NCAA semifinals after a thrilling victory 4-3 over No. 6 seed TCU.

Ohio State got on the board first by taking the doubles point and Herkko Pollanen made to 2-0 with two 6-4 wins on court five, but TCU was a tough out on the other courts. The Horned Frogs won both sets on court two as JJ Wolf fell 6-4 and 6-4 then added another point to knot it up at two when Martin Joyce fell in the third set 6-2.

Kyle Seelig gave the Buckeyes another point shortly after, giving them a 3-2 lead, but they were in trouble. No. 2 ranked Mikael Torpegaard trailed No. 1 ranked Cameron Norrie 5-2 on set three while Hugo Di Feo trailed 4-2.

Torpegaard fell 6-3 and all eyes were on Di Feo, and he delivered.

The senior won four-straight games to take the set and match 6-4, give Ohio State a 4-3 victory and punch its ticket to the next round.

With the thrilling win, the No. 3 seed Buckeyes advance to the NCAA semifinals where they'll face No. 2 seed Virginia on Monday at noon with berth in the championship match on the line. The Cavaliers were one of just two teams to beat Ohio State during the regular season.
