While Ohio State football is off this weekend, fútbol is alive and well as the Ohio State women's soccer team clinched at least a share of the Big Ten title with a 2-1 road win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday night.
The #18 ranked Buckeyes scored twice in the first half on goals from Nikki Watts and Sammy Edwards and were able to hold defensively in the second half to secure a victory, despite Minnesota (18) taking nine more shots than the Buckeyes (9).

With the win, the Buckeyes for just the second time in program history clinched a share of the Big Ten championship. The first time was in 2010, when Ohio State shared the crown with Penn State.
Ohio State can win the title outright with a win over Indiana on Wednesday at 7:00 here in Columbus.
