Whether the Big Ten or the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, a conference title won for Ohio State is a conference title worth celebrating.

On Saturday afternoon, Ohio State men's volleyball jointly celebrated its Senior Day with a share of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association conference title after a 3-0 sweep of Loyola Chicago.

Though not an outright championship, the feat still marks the 28th time in program history and the first time since 2018 the Buckeyes can call themselves conference champions in men's volleyball.

Ohio State posted several highlights of the match on its Twitter account, including a pair of clutch endings to the other sets won by the Buckeyes, who finished their regular season with eight straight wins, an overall record of 19-9 and a conference record of 11-3.

Ohio State will return to the court at 7 p.m. next Saturday as the No. 3 seed in the MIVA Tournament, in which it will host No. 6 seed Lindenwood at the Covelli Center in its opening-round game.
