As Ohio State's spring game sits less than a month away, spring practice in Columbus continues apace for both new and veteran Buckeyes.

Chief among the storylines this week was the history made by incoming freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. The latest pupil under Brian Hartline had his black stripe removed from his helmet after only four practice sessions, which set a record for fastest mark in program history.

An absolute baller is joining Zone 6, welcome to the Brotherhood, @Jermiah_Smith1 pic.twitter.com/IFpeRJ87Xs
Not to be left alone, Smith's fellow wide receiver Brennan Schramm followed suit later in the week with a black stripe alert of his own.

On the other side of the ball, Jim Knowles continues to see progress across the front seven while spreading knowledge and life lessons from NFL head coaches and motivational speakers alike.
I expect you to get better in all areas You need to continually be a guy on the rise. That is a reasonable expectation. Mike Tomlin

Earlier this week, departing Buckeyes with eyes on the professional ranks had the opportunity to make a late impression on scouts from across the NFL. Michael Hall Jr. — fresh off a standout effort at Senior Bowl activities — did not disappoint in his latest showing to the League.
PRO-DAY UPDATE: Ohio State DT Michael Hall Jr. did not test at Combine but absolutely his pro-day yesterday. He ran insane 4.76-4.78 (multiple NFL scouts ) at 299 pounds, which puts him with FSU's Braden Fiske as fastest IDL in this year's draft class.

While Marvin Harrison Jr. sat out from both the NFL Combine and pro day in Columbus, the latest Biletnikoff winner hardly seems worried about needing to make any additional statements about his performance ahead of the Draft. Perhaps Route Man Marv already has a promise from a particular franchise?

As for Buckeyes already in the league, more former Ohio State players continue to find new homes as the free agency cycle continues. Chief among them this week was Chase Young, seemingly excited to reunite with Chris Olave in New Orleans.
New Saints DE Chase Young, who signed his one-year, $13 million deal with New Orleans today, is undergoing a neck procedure that is expected to sideline him into training camp, per sources. The expectation is that he will return in time for the season. Teams were aware of his pic.twitter.com/I2saUzLFhp

Buckeye basketball obviously had a big week of its own, as well. Last Sunday, OSU officially took the interim tag off of Jake Diebler and made him the full-time head coach at Ohio State ahead of the team's trip to the National Invitation Tournament.

Speaking of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James has to be happy with teammate D'Angelo Russell this week after the former Buckeye set a new franchise record for 3-pt field goals made in a single season.

If the Lakers need another emergency big man for a late-season Playoff push, perhaps they can give Dawand Jones a call.

On the subject of high school basketball, incoming 2025 forward Colin White earned Mr. Ohio Basketball honors this week — the 12th Buckeye recruit all-time to do so and third in the last four years.

We conclude This Week in Twitter with best of luck to Jesse Mendez and Rocco Welsh this week, as the pair of Buckeye wrestlers prepare to square off for NCAA Championships on Saturday night. Mendez had one of the highlights of the tournament yesterday after putting Nebraska's Brock Hardy in a spectacular spladle.
