The 2016 ESPN100 was updated Wednesday morning and both of Ohio State's commits in the class were included as top-100 prospects.
Four-star forward Derek Funderburk — who recently transferred from Lakewood St. Edward to Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va. — comes in as the No. 46-ranked player by ESPN and Micah Potter — a four-star center who recently transferred to Montverde Academy — is ranked No. 99 by ESPN.
Another target for the Buckeyes in the 2016 class, five-star guard Kobi Simmons, checks in at No. 18 on the list. The full ESPN100 can be seen here.
Funderburk and Potter are expected to bring much-needed size to Ohio State's frontcourt. ESPN has Funderburk rated as the nation's 11th-ranked power forward and Potter as the 16th-rated center in the 2016 class.
Ohio State also has a four-star center committed in the 2017 class in Kaleb Wesson.
