Ohio State's 2016 recruiting class now officially sits at four.
The school announced Wednesday that C.J. Jackson, a junior college point guard, has officially signed to play for the Buckeyes. Jackson committed to Ohio State last week and signed his national letter of intent without ever having visited campus.

“We are anxious to get C.J. on campus and working toward next season,” head coach Thad Matta said in a statement. “I was impressed with his being a winner and most importantly a team player. He has demonstrated the ability to score and consistently hit the 3, but he also distributes the basketball and makes others around him better.”
Jackson spent this past season playing for Eastern Florida State College. He is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and after high school played a year of post-grad ball at the famed Montverde Academy. Jackson originally committed to George Mason while at Montverde, but opted to go to Eastern Florida State College after a coaching change at George Mason.
Jackson is listed as a 6-foot-1, 170-pound point guard. He chose Ohio State over reported offers from UConn, Missouri, UNLV, California and others.
During his one season at Eastern Florida State College, Jackson averaged 16.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 45 percent from behind the 3-point line.
As a junior college transfer, Jackson is eligible to play immediately and has three years of eligibility remaining.
Jackson joins Andre Wesson, Derek Funderburk and Micah Potter in Ohio State's 2016 class. Funderburk and Potter signed back in November during college basketball's early signing period. Wesson committed and signed with the Buckeyes last week.
