With the NBA Draft less than a week away, Bates-Diop has now worked out for eight NBA teams. He has had workouts with the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors since the NBA Combine and also worked out with the Los Angeles Lakers prior to the combine.
The Wizards hold the No. 15 overall pick in the first round of the June 21 draft and the No. 44 overall selection in the second round. Bates-Diop is widely viewed as a late first to early-second round pick.
