Duane Washington Jr. is on the move.
The former Ohio State guard was waived by the Phoenix Suns Wednesday after 31 appearances with the franchise this season. Washington averaged 7.9 points in 12.7 minutes per game for the Suns and made three starts.
The Phoenix Suns are signing guard Saben Lee to a two-way NBA deal and waiving Duane Washington Jr., sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Lee earns deal with Suns after strong stint on 10-days. Washington has scoring ability, averaging 8 points in 13 minutes per game this season.

Washington initially signed a two-way contract with the Suns last August after being cut by the Indiana Pacers in July.
Washington signed a two-way deal with the Pacers after going undrafted in 2021 and turned in a standout rookie campaign in the NBA. The 3-point sharpshooter averaged 9.9 points in 20.2 minutes per game in 48 appearances during his first season.
Washington earned a multi-year contract with the Pacers last April, but the organization ended up waiving him as a means to clear cap space. Now Washington has been waived by two different teams in the past seven months.
