Ohio State men's basketball will host one final home game in the 2023-24 season, and it will be for a spot in the NIT semifinals.

With fourth-seeded Georgia toppling No .1 seed Wake Forest 72-66 on Sunday, the second-seeded Buckeyes will welcome the Bulldogs to Value City Arena rather than hitting the road to play the Demon Deacons.

The contest between Ohio State and Georgia will tip off at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Value City Arena, with ESPN set to broadcast the game.

Georgia holds just a 19-16 record on the season to Ohio State's 22-13. The Bulldogs closed their regular season with four losses in five games before winning one contest in the SEC Tournament.

The Bulldogs' road to the NIT quarterfinals started with a 78-76 win at home over fifth-seeded Xavier. Guards Noah Thomasson and Justin Hill propelled the team past Wake Forest, scoring 19 and 21 points respectively to place them at the Buckeyes' doorstep.

A tight first-round victory over seventh-seeded Cornell and a second-round win against third-seeded Virginia Tech paved the path to the tournament's final eight teams for the Buckeyes.

The winner between Ohio State and Georgia will face the winner of Seton Hall and either Boston College or UNLV, depending on who wins their matchup later Sunday evening. The semifinals are set to take place on April 2 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
