Ohio State is back with the usual suspects in the CBS Sports Classic.

This year, the Buckeyes will face Kentucky on Dec. 21 in Madison Square Garden as part of the four-team showcase.

2024 will feature the 11th rendition of the CBS Sports Classic, and each of those 11 years has featured the same four teams of Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State and UCLA. The Buckeyes are 5-4 in their previous nine matchups in the classic, with its 2021 game against Kentucky canceled due to COVID-19. OSU defeated UCLA 67-60 last year.

Against the Wildcats specifically, Ohio State is 2-0 in the classic, winning 71-65 in 2019 and upsetting No. 4 Kentucky 74-67 in 2015 as an unranked squad.

Both the Buckeyes and Wildcats will be breaking in new head coaches, with Mark Pope departing from BYU's lead position to take over for John Calipari at Kentucky and Jake Diebler grabbing the job formerly held by the fired Chris Holtmann at Ohio State.

It will also be the first matchup for OSU transfer acquisition Aaron Bradshaw against his former team. Bradshaw averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.7 minutes per game as a freshman for the Wildcats last year.

Ohio State and Kentucky will tip off following the conclusion of the first game of the classic between UCLA and North Carolina, which starts at 3 p.m. CBS and Paramount+ will broadcast the matchup.
