The Hurry Up is your nightly dose of updates from the Ohio State football recruiting trail, keeping tabs on the latest from commits and targets from around the country.

AFTER BURNEY-RS

Clearwater, Florida, Central Catholic defensive back Amari Burney told Eleven Warriors on Monday morning he'll take an unofficial visit to Ohio State for this weekend's game against Rutgers. Burney received a scholarship offer in July and has been eyeing a trip to Columbus since.

“I'm most looking forward to meeting the coach, checking out the facilities if I can and the atmosphere,” he said.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound junior is considered the ninth-best safety and the No. 105 player overall in the Class of 2018.

He currently holds 16 offers from schools such as Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Pitt, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin, but doesn't have any favorites at this point in time.

“They're definitely up there,” Burney said. “I mean, who wouldn't love Ohio State?”

DOUBLE DOWN

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, offensive lineman Parker Ogle announced on Twitter Sunday evening that he has been invited to Ohio State for an unofficial visit.

“We decided I was going to go up for the Michigan game because it fits perfectly with my football schedule,” Ogle told Eleven Warriors. “I heard it's the biggest rivalry in sports.”

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound junior is in his first year with the Gators after transferring from Jensen Beach. Ogle doesn't yet hold any offers, but schools like Florida, Florida Atlantic and Florida State have shown interest.

“We just started the recruiting process like getting my highlights together,” he said.

Ogle is not yet ranked by any major recruiting websites, but it's clear Ohio State was impressed with his highlight tape.

Additionally, Ogle is the teammate of Alabama commit VanDarius Cowan, whom Ohio State will host for an official visit that same day.

UGH-GA

Though Ohio State is considered the favorite to land Grand Prairie, Texas, cornerback Jeffrey Okudah, the five-star prospect announced on Twitter Sunday evening that he will take an official visit to Georgia this coming weekend.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound senior has more than 30 scholarship offers, but narrowed down his top choices to Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and USC in early July. He was in Norman last weekend for the Buckeyes' 45-24 win over the Sooners.

“The visit was great,” Okudah said. “It was something crazy to see Ohio State live in action.”

ACTION JACKSON

Denver linebacker Adrian Jackson was so impressed with Ohio State's one-day camp in June that he almost immediately began planning a trip back. After much consideration, the top-rated prospect in the state of Colorado told Rivals.com's Adam Gorney that he'll return this weekend for an unofficial visit.

In addition to Ohio State, the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder has holds offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame and Nebraska.

“Ohio State has a great family atmosphere,” Jackson said. “When I was there, I liked how they approached me. I like the facilities and the area around the school.”

Jackson is considered by 247Sports Composite as the 10th-best linebacker and No. 201 player overall in the Class of 2018.
