A four-star prospect from Orlando's Jones High School, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Banks picked the Buckeyes in late April over 23 other offers from programs such as Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He is considered the 27th-best corner and No. 254 prospect overall in the Class of 2018.
Banks will be joined in Orlando by commit Brian Snead and Brenton Cox. Pledges Emory Jones, Jaelen Gill, Max Wray, Josh Proctor, Jeremy Ruckert and Jaiden Woodbey, meanwhile, will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio one weekend later.
