Ohio State Will Host Several Five-Star Prospects, Commits For Saturday's Top Five Matchup With Oklahoma

Ohio State's first big recruiting weekend of the 2017 season is here, and several five-star prospects and at least half a dozen commits will be on hand for Saturday's game against Oklahoma.

Last year's matchup between the two programs proved to be a turning point in the staff's pursuit of then-five-star cornerback Jeffrey Okudah. In Norman as a guest of the Sooners, he sat behind the Buckeyes' bench as they came away with a 45-24 victory.

Tomorrow's game, however, offers Ohio State a chance to impress against a team still trying to flip four-star safety commits Jaiden Woodbey and Josh Proctor — an Oklahoma native. Both will be in attendance, and a win for the Buckeyes would surely help as the staff tries to hold onto their respective pledges through signing day.

Several prospects will be attending their first-ever college football game, including defensive end Jayson Oweh and defensive tackle Jowon Briggs. Others have been in Ohio Stadium before, including some who may be on commitment watch like defensive tackle Tommy Togiai.

Will it be a #BOOMing weekend against Oklahoma? We'll find out sooner rather than later.
