There was no shortage of premier talent on display at the Under Armour Next camp on Sunday at Fortress Obetz in Obetz, Ohio.

A rainy morning didn’t stop six of Ohio State’s 13 commitments in the 2024 class from working out at the one-day camp, including Devontae and Deontae Armstrong, Marc Nave, Sam Williams-Dixon, Mylan Graham and Garrett Stover. Two received individual awards in their position groups, with Williams-Dixon honored as one of the MVPs at running back.

“I think I did well paying attention to everyone who was out here and listening to my coach,” Williams-Dixon said. “I thought my route running was amazing and I thought I wowed the crowd today.”

Meanwhile, Graham earned wide receiver MVP honors along with an invite to the 2024 Under Armour All-American game.

“I felt great,” Graham said after the camp. “I feel like I could have done a little better on a few more of my reps. I don’t lose any of my reps, but I still feel like I could have done a little bit better. I really just came here to have fun and get better.”

Three other players with Ohio State offers also earned individual honors at Sunday’s camp. 2025 Ohio tailback Bo Jackson joined Williams-Dixon in taking home MVP honors at running back.

“Today I felt like I gave it my best,” Jackson said. “I went at my drills hard and I liked my route running against the linebackers in the catching drill.”

Ryan Montgomery and Bryce Underwood, the only two quarterbacks in the 2025 class with Ohio State offers, were selected as the MVPs of the quarterback group, earning them invitations to Under Armour‘s Future 50 camp.

“I thought I did pretty well,” Montgomery said. “I’m striving for perfection, so I’m never satisfied with whatever I do, but I thought I did pretty well today. It was a great day to get out and compete with some of the top guys nationally.”

Offensive and defensive linemen kicked off the camp in the morning session, with each group running 40-yard dashes and other agility drills before eventually moving into one-on-one competition. Deontae Armstrong won all of his one-on-one matchups, while Devontae Armstrong and Nave were also impressive with their performance. Nave was asked to play out of position at left tackle during some of his one-on-one drills, but turned in an excellent showing when lined up at his natural position, left guard.

“I went undefeated in competition and the drills were nice, I ran a nice 40 and everything in-between,” Deontae Armstrong said of his day.

In the second part of the camp featuring the running backs and linebackers, Williams-Dixon showcased why he was used primarily at wide receiver as a sophomore, winning a bevy of one-on-one drills in pass-catching matchups. Jackson also displayed his ability to be a weapon in the passing game.

Stover showcased his hybrid potential as a linebacker and safety, winning two one-on-one matchups in pass coverage and picking off a pass on his second rep while guarding Michigan running back commitment Jordan Marshall

Throughout the day, the five-star Underwood looked every bit the part of the top quarterback in the 2025 class, which he is per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Montgomery also delivered accurate throws throughout the day. Other impressive performers at quarterback included 2025 prospects Tavien St. Clair and Jamison Kitna and 2026 signal-callers Rocco Williams and Nathan Bernhard

Graham lived up to his billing as a five-star wideout Sunday, catching nearly everything in sight and making some defenders look silly in pass coverage. Ohio 2026 wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., who holds an OSU offer, also looked crisp with his route running.

Ohio State is locked in a big recruiting battle with Michigan for one of Ohio’s top 2024 cornerbacks in Aaron Scott Jr., and Scott showed why by making two impressive pass deflections in one-on-ones. Four-star 2024 OSU safety target Reggie Powers was also strong in coverage during his camp session.
