Last week, Urban Meyer challenged the students of Ohio State to a race against the fastest Buckeye football player. When asked if Meyer thought there was a student faster than Dontre Wilson, and if so - would he take them on the team? Meyer at least semi-seriously answered "yes and yes."

Meyer certainly got the students' attention. Today, students flocked to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center in an attempt to prove they belonged on the track with Dontre and others. No names were released, but one student ran a 4.45, which should make Dontre and Devin Smith sweat a bit.
The top six finishers will be competing head to head at student appreciation day on April 5th for the right to race the fastest Buckeye at halftime of the spring game.
