One of sport's greatest pleasures is when a bunch of people say "Your team is bad, actually," and then your team goes out and stomps a mudhole in somebody's ass. For a hater like me with a heart as cold as ice, it's the best thing.
And one of the best ways to shove your enemy's shitty opinion down his throat is through the use of the ironic retweets. What exactly is an ironic retweet? Well, allow these ironic retweets from Taylor Decker to illustrate.
(Trigger warning: There aren't enough fire emojis in the world to accurately describe just how hot these #takes are.)
No chance in hell RT @FoxSportsRadio: Can Ohio State still make the CFB playoff without Braxton Miller?
— TRJONS (@trjons) August 20, 2014
There is no chance Ohio State is going to the playoffs with Barrett hurt. That is not going to be a Top 4 team without him.
— Atlanta Sports Guy (@Atlantasportguy) November 29, 2014
Well there goes Ohio State's chance at a playoff spot. No way they'll have a chance being voted in without Miller or Barrett

Why are we still talking about cardale jones, the kid is likely to never play a meaningful snap in college WHO CARES
— Fan of Pizza (@Notafanofsport) October 5, 2012
I'm starting to think Cardale Jones will never see the field. #buckeyes #gobucks

— Deon Shields (@deon2coldd) January 13, 2015

That deluge of awful opinions makes you think, for sure. Decker wasn't done yet, though:
Funny how things work, often those who said you couldn't will cheer the loudest when you do #raisethewhiteropes
— Taylor Decker (@TDeck68) February 25, 2015
And that is why Decker is one of the best Tweeters in the game, folks. (I imagine him blowing smoke off his index finger as soon as he sent "send" on that last one.)
