J.T. Barrett hasn't earned many headlines this offseason, but when he has... it's because he's working.
The reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Year is back home in Wichita Falls, Texas, before heading back to Columbus on Sunday to report to Camp Meyer 2015.
Nobody would fault Barrett for using the time to relax and catch up with his family, but Barrett isn't exactly wired that way. Here he is, via TimesRecorder.com, putting in work at his old stomping grounds, Rider High School:
Barrett also used the opportunity to give back to those walking in his footsteps:
“It was a good deal. I was just trying to share what little experience I had coming from Rider,” Barrett said. “I didn’t know this was happening when I got here. They said ‘Midnight Madness at the stadium.’ I decided to come out and get a little work in. It was pretty cool.”
Barrett, as evidenced in the video, says his legs are "good to go" heading into camp.
#QBgeddon officially approaches.
