Ohio State junior punter Cameron Johnston has been named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.

In the Buckeyes' 38-12 win over Western Michigan on Saturday, Johnston punted four times with an average of 51.5 yards per kick including a season-long 67-yarder. Two of those punts were downed inside the opponents 10-yard line.
So far this season, Johnston has punted 18 times with an average of 47.4 yards per kick. Johnston has had nine of his 18 kicks travel 50-plus yards and seven of those punts have been downed inside the 20-yard line.
