A national championship-winning quarterback is in Columbus on Saturday.
Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones joined the Buckeyes as they walked from St. John Arena to The Horseshoe to prepare for a top-10 clash with Nebraska. J.T. Barrett appears to be pretty happy about it, as well.
Jones led the Buckeyes to victories over Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon to cap the 2014 season with the first-ever College Football Playoff national championship. The Buffalo Bills selected Jones in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft (139th overall).
The Bills play on Monday night in Seattle, so it is likely Jones' Columbus stay will be brief. No word on if he will suit up for his former team, however.
Kickoff between the No. 6 Buckeyes and No. 10 Cornhuskers is set for 8 p.m.
