A guest on the College GameDay set earlier this morning with Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit, B1G commissioner Jim Delany offered his thoughts on the College Football Playoff.
With a crowd of Penn State and Wisconsin fans behind him, Delany said flatly that Ohio State (and Alabama) have "done enough" to punch their tickets for the College Football Playoff.
Delany hammered home the "four best teams" mantra and even acknowledged the boos from the crowd while offering that years ago when the committee was formed, he was more of a proponent of taking the four best conference champions but he "lost that election."
While it was already a lock, Ohio State's bid is now further cemented by the commissioner of the B1G putting his chips on the table.
