INDIANAPOLIS – Former Ohio State center Billy Price confirmed to reporters on Friday morning that he suffered an incomplete pectoral tear while participating in the bench press at the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday, as previously reported by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero and The MMQB's Albert Breer.
Price suffered the injury on just his fourth repetition of 225 pounds during Thursday's bench press, a test in which he was expected to be among the combine's top performers.
Price is currently seeking a second opinion on his injury, and is uncertain whether he will need surgery or whether he will be able to participate in Ohio State's pro day on March 22. Price does expect, however, to make a full recovery in time for his rookie season.

Price, who never missed a game during his four-year playing career at Ohio State, had a chance to solidify himself as one of the draft's top offensive linemen and as a potential first-round pick with an impressive combine showing. Price's injury, however, could adversely affect his draft stock, especially if he is unable to complete a full workout before the NFL draft begins on April 26.
Eleven Warriors will have more on this story shortly.
