Parris Campbell wasn't happy about Michigan tailback Karan Higdon's guarantee of a Wolverine victory and Urban Meyer's electric H-back did his part to ensure Higdon's pledge would fall flat.

In a 62-39 demolition of Jim Harbaugh's squad, Campbell tallied 192 total yards and two touchdowns. Initially, Campbell was listed as having 114 yard receiving on five receptions and a touchdown with another 78 yards on the ground via a jet sweet for a score.

Upon further review however from Urban Meyer's consigliere, the venerable Jerry Emig, it was noted this morning Campbell's 78-yard jaunt would be changed to a reception after evidence showed the jet sweep came from a pop-pass and not a direct handoff.

With Campbell's receiving yards properly adjusted to 192 for the game, his season total now stands at 903 receiving yards which is already good for the 15th-best single-season in school history.

Of course, with at least two games to play, Campbell surely has his eyes on greater heights as he needs just 97 receiving yards to become only the fifth player in school history to reach the 1,000 receiving yards plateau.
