The Eleven Warriors Web Report comes to you from the Spectrum News 1 studios in downtown Columbus, featuring our own Beau Bishop and Dan Hope along with former Buckeye linebacker Joshua Perry.
Ohio State played its biggest game of the season this week, and absolutely demolished and demoralized Michigan, winning 62-39 in blowout fashion.
"I think it's just shocking to see how lopsided this game was. Michigan seemed like it was never in the game," Dan said, noting the only time it felt like the Wolverines even made things interested in when a Demario McCall muffed kickoff gifted them seven points.
"I think other than that, Ohio State was clearly the better team in this game," he continued.
But with that in the rear-view mirror, the Buckeyes have another task at hand – a Big Ten Championship matchup with Northwestern. And though Ohio State has now inserted itself in the thick of the playoff conversation, all the Buckeyes can do is handle business in Indianapolis.
"It really does start with handling your business," Joshua said. "These guys have to go into this game and they have to understand they have a great opportunity to blow somebody out this weekend."
It's up to the Buckeyes to show they can perform the way the did on Saturday with consistency. Because if they can, they're one of the best teams in the country.
"The only thing you can control right now if you're Ohio State is go up there on Saturday and play the best game you possibly can," Dan said. "You saw on Saturday what this team is capable of. We hadn't seen it all season, but we finally saw it on Saturday – this team is capable of being one of the best teams in college football."
Now it's up to Ohio State to make a statement.
